Designed to Shine
March 2008 - Our first weekend retreat, held at El Capitan Canyon, just north of Santa Barbara, was a blessing that far exceeded our expectations. But isn't that just like our God? Our guest speaker was Christina DiMari, author of "Ocean Star". She had a message of hope that ministered to all our "girls", regardless of age.

I had such a blast at our first retreat! I'm so thankful to all the ladies who worked so hard to make it so fabulous! God met me there and spoke to me there in major ways through Christina.
What a Wonderful weekend.
It was so nice to be away, and to meet others and to really get to know them a little better. Loved the dolphin pod explaination. God gave us all our own pods to help guide us in one way or another. To be there to lift us up when we are hurting or just need a little encouragement. They are the hands of God. Thank goodness for our pods.
The retreat was a true blessing in so many ways. Thank you to everyone who helped to put it together, it would not have happened without tremendous effort from many people.
God is so good, and He showed Himself that weekend in just about every way we could have asked. Christina was a delightful surprise, and had a unique gift to share her life experiences.
The photo album is great! Thank you Kim, it really helps to reconnect with the weekend.I am looking forward to hearing comments from more of the ladies who attended.
