Jeremiah 2:13
13 "My people have committed two sins:
They have forsaken me,
the spring of living water,
and have dug their own cisterns,
broken cisterns that cannot hold water.
The last week of our study asks us how we have dug our own "cicsterns" and tried to satisfy the deepest parts of our soul with things other than God. Food, shopping, business..... I always catch myself looking to the things I DO to make me feel significant. God is reminding me that I'm precious and chosen in His sight.
